Creating Draft Prescriptions for a Prescriber to Sign
As a staff or clinic user, you can create prescriptions on behalf of prescribers. You will not be able to sign these prescriptions yourself, but you can enter all the required details and send them to a prescriber to complete the signing process.
Step 1: Create a New Draft Prescription
Click the Prescriptions tab in the menu, then select Create Draft Prescription.
This will open the form where you can start adding the prescription details.
Step 2: Enter Patient and Medication Details
Fill in the patient information and medication details as required.
At the bottom of the page, you will see a Prescriber search box.
Use this to choose the prescriber who should review and sign the prescription.

Once selected, save the draft.
Step 3: Prescriber Signs the Draft
The prescriber will see the draft prescription in their Pending Prescriptions tab on SignatureRx.
They can review it and sign it whenever convenient for them.
