Commission Feature Overview
The Commission feature on SignatureRx automates the calculation and collection of commissions for clinics, independent prescribers and other healthcare providers.
Once activated, commissions are generated whenever a prescriber selects Issue for delivery with SignaturePharmacy.
How Commission Works
When Issue for delivery is selected:
- A clinic admin fee is added to the cost of the medicine
- This fee is paid by the patient
- The amount is later transferred to the clinic or prescriber
This allows clinics and prescribers to earn additional revenue automatically.
Step 1: Access the Commission Settings
To access the feature:
- Click your name in the top right corner of SignatureRx
- Select Commissions from the menu
From here, you can enable and configure commission settings.
Step 2: Create a Ryft Account
Before enabling commissions, you must:
- Create a Ryft account
- Add your bank details
- Connect Ryft to SignatureRx
Ryft handles commission payouts securely on your behalf.
Step 3: Enable and Customise the Service Fee
Once Ryft is connected, you can enable the clinic service fee and choose how the commission is calculated.
You can set commission using one of the following:
- Percentage of order total
- Fixed amount per line item
- Fixed amount per prescription
Choose the option that fits your clinic’s workflow and pricing preferences.
Step 4: Automatic Commission Transfers
Every time your saved commission amount reaches £100, Ryft will:
- Automatically transfer the full amount to your clinic or prescriber bank account
- Transfer without adding any additional tax on top
This makes commission collection seamless and fully automated.
