 Ways to Issue a Prescription

When you issue prescriptions through the SignatureRx web portal, you can choose from several options. Each option is designed to help you send the prescription in the way that best supports your patient.

Issue for Collection

A prescription ID code will be sent to the patient by email and SMS.
The patient can use this code at any local pharmacy. They will also have the option to request delivery for their medication.

Issue for Delivery

The e-prescription will be sent directly to Signature Pharmacy.
The patient will be contacted within 2 working hours and will receive a payment link. Once payment is completed, the medication will be processed for delivery.

Issue to Email

An email with the prescription ID will be sent to the email address you provide.
This option is ideal when you want to send the prescription ID to another pharmacy. The email will also include instructions for the pharmacy on how to dispense the prescription.

Issue to Contact

An email containing the prescription ID will be sent to the contact you select.
We recommend adding pharmacies as contacts so you can quickly send prescriptions to the pharmacy you prefer.
